Looking for a procedural nursing role with strong daytime schedule and minimal nights? This Endoscopy (GI Lab) RN position is perfect for nurses experienced in sedation procedures and GI equipment handling.

🏥 Role Overview

As an Endoscopy RN, you will play a key role in pre, intra, and post-procedural care for patients undergoing GI and endoscopic procedures, including those requiring sedation.

 

🩺 Key Responsibilities

  • Provide care for patients undergoing endoscopic & invasive GI procedures
  • Assist with moderate sedation and patient monitoring
  • Collaborate with Pre-Op and procedural teams
  • Maintain aseptic technique and patient safety standards
  • Educate and support patients and families
  • Assist with GI equipment handling (tech portion REQUIRED)
  • Document procedures, supplies, and patient outcomes 

 

📋 Requirements (Must-Have)

  • ✔ Active RN License (State or Compact)
  • BLS & ACLS (AHA)
  • BSN Required
  • ✔ Experience with GI equipment / Endoscopy tech responsibilities
  • ✔ Minimum procedural nursing experience (Endo/GI preferred)

  • Strong in sedation & procedural workflows
  • Comfortable with hands-on GI equipment handling
  • Ability to float within perioperative services if needed
  • Team player with strong critical thinking skills
