Description
Job Requirements
Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience preferred
Experience with computerized axial tomography procedures required
Experience with venipuncture and contrast administration required
Must be comfortable working in a hospital imaging environment
Strong knowledge of patient safety and radiology quality standards preferred
Certification Requirements
BLS (AHA) – Required
ARRT (R) – Required
Illinois Licensed Radiologic Technologist (IEMA) – Required
Key Responsibilities
Perform CT imaging procedures following department protocols
Prepare and administer IV/oral/rectal contrast materials
Perform venipuncture and monitor for adverse reactions
Review radiology orders, patient history, and clinical data for accuracy
Generate multiplanar reformats and 3D rendered imaging independently
Transfer and verify image data in PACS
Maintain imaging equipment and workplace organization
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff
Ensure patient and environmental safety throughout procedures
Preferred Experience
PACS and image data transfer experience
3D rendered imaging and multiplanar reformatting
Experience reviewing medical necessity and patient history
Strong communication and teamwork skills
