Job Title: Registered Nurse - Med Surg/Telemetry Float

Location: Cleveland, OH

Employment Type: Contract

Shift: Nights and Days both are available

Shift Length: 12 hours

Expected Hours: 36 hours per week

Duration: 13 weeks

Locals are accepted as well. The pay range for local is $56/hour - $58/hour

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated RN Med/Surg/Tele - Float Pool to provide high-quality patient care across multiple units, including Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and other assigned departments. The Float Pool RN will adapt quickly to varying patient populations, support staffing needs, and deliver safe, compassionate, and efficient nursing care in a fast-paced hospital environment. This role requires strong clinical judgment, flexibility, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in Med/Surg, Telemetry, and other assigned units based on staffing needs.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and response to treatment.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition, emergencies, and telemetry alerts.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.

Required Qualifications::

• 2 years of Medical Surgical/Telemetry experince
• Valid Ohio State RN license
• BLS Certified through AHA
