• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day Shift (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Hours: 32 hours/week (4 days/week)
• Weekend Requirement: None

• On Call: Not required
• Guaranteed Hours: 32/week

🧠 Role Overview

As a PACU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering safe, high-quality post-anesthesia care for surgical patients recovering from a variety of procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring patients in the post-anesthesia recovery phase
• Managing airway, pain control, and hemodynamic stability
• Responding to post-op complications and recovery needs
• Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR teams
• Supporting recovery for:
  • Orthopedic procedures
  • Plastic surgery cases
  • General surgery
  • Colorectal procedures
  • Gynecological surgeries 

🧪 Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of recent PACU or Post-Anesthesia nursing experience REQUIRED
• Strong background in perioperative or surgical recovery nursing
• Ability to manage diverse outpatient surgical case mix 

📜 Required Certifications

• BLS (AHA) – REQUIRED
• ACLS (AHA) – REQUIRED
• Active Registered Nurse license (Georgia or Compact eligible)
