Shift: 12H Nights 

Department: PCU / IMC / Med Surg RN

*Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS

***Locals Accepted: Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility. 

Patient Ratios: Ratios 1:3-5, ICU 1:3, IMC/PCU 1:3-4, MS1:5, 2 RN in department at all times. Team nursing with RN and LPN to take a total of 7 patients.

- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Pneumonia/Covid, Post OP- knees, hips, falls.

- Experience or 'Must have' skills: 1 year of experience excellent patient care great documentation. Must have 1 year PCU (MS-Tele experience only not appropriate) or prior ICU experience. 

Will accept travel duos. 

Will accept first time travelers. 

Must have Cerner experience.

- Are RNs required to titrate drips: Yes

- Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Amiodarone Heparin- IMCU. Levo, Cardizem, Dobutamine, pressors

.- RT Equipment:: Vented pt transfer to a higher level of care

- Weekend Requirements:: Every 3rd: Friday, Sat Sunday. 

- Holiday Requirements: Yes, 2 out of 3 Holidays.

- Is there call or a standby requirement: Yes- take turns for low census/ standby. 

- Floating Requirements: Yes, not required to float- other option is to go home and lose hours
