• Specialty:CABG, TAVR, STEMI, Carotids
• Number of Openings:
• Shift:
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: every other weekend or to meet the needs of the facility
• Call Requirements: no on call
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCRN preferred
• Years of Experience: minimum 1.5 years
• Float Requirements: per scheduled rotation
• Additional Notes:
Unit Information:
• Number of Beds: 8
• Patient Ratios: 2:1 with occasional 1:1
• Equipment: Impella, IABP, CRRT
• EHR: Cerner
• Supervisor: • Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: Adult/Geriatric
Hiring Profile:
• Must Have Skills/Experience: 1 year CVICU experience (after orientation complete)
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: CVICU experience
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: CABG, TAVR, STEMI, Carotids
• Personality Fit: strong critical thinking skills
• Required Education:Assoicate Nursing Degree
