Job Opportunity: Oncology Chemo Certified Registered Nurse

Location: New Brunswick, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Specialty: Registered Nurse - Oncology
  • Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM)
  • Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 4 patients
  • Patient Diagnoses: Hematological malignancies, bone marrow transplant, CAR-T therapy, chemotherapy administration, solid oncology diagnoses
  • Special Procedures: Chemotherapy administration
  • Charting System: EPIC
  • Floating Policy: May float within the scope of skillset as needed across main and satellite campuses
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
  • Time Off Policy: Requests must be submitted with application and approved before offer
  • Block Scheduling: Not approved
  • Accepts first-time travelers and local candidates

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse license in New Jersey
  • Minimum 2 years of Hematology/Oncology nursing experience, including experience within the last year
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Chemotherapy Certification (CHEMO)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
