Job Opportunity: Oncology Chemo Certified Registered Nurse

Location: New Brunswick, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Specialty: Registered Nurse - Oncology
Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM)
Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 4 patients
Patient Diagnoses: Hematological malignancies, bone marrow transplant, CAR-T therapy, chemotherapy administration, solid oncology diagnoses
Special Procedures: Chemotherapy administration
Charting System: EPIC
Floating Policy: May float within the scope of skillset as needed across main and satellite campuses
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Time Off Policy: Requests must be submitted with application and approved before offer
Block Scheduling: Not approved
Accepts first-time travelers and local candidates

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse license in New Jersey
Minimum 2 years of Hematology/Oncology nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Chemotherapy Certification (CHEMO)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
