Description

If you're interested in making a significant impact as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in a School setting in Charleston, SC this position might be what you are looking for!

Requirements:

Specialty: SLP-CCC
Years of Experience: Minimum 5 years- Secondaty Education
Certifications & License:
- BLS Certification
- Licensed with Masters or Doctorate degree in SLP
- Active SC state License

Patient Population & Caseload

5 years of experience required- secondary Education (middle & High School Students) Required experience with a focus on adolescent communication needs, transition planning, and curriculum-based intervention. Should be proficient in addressing complex social interactions and peer communication for adolescents. Targeting organizational skills, memory, and cognitive-communication skills needed for self-management. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in social-communication, executive functioning, and literacy, while managing IEPs under federal IDEA regulations.

Work Environment & Schedule

Setting: School
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Shifts: 5 shifts per week- 7.5 hours (37.5 hrs weekly)
