Endoscopy Travel RN – Baton Rouge, LA
Facility: Ochsner Health – Ochsner Medical Center Baton Rouge
Location: Baton Rouge
Start Date: 6/1/2026
Contract Length: 91 days
Schedule: 5x8 Days (varied start times between 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Requirements:
- 2+ years of Endoscopy RN experience required
- Compact or Louisiana RN license required at submission
- BLS & ACLS (AHA only) required
- Epic experience preferred
- Must be fully independent in all Endoscopy areas
Advanced Procedure Experience Required:
- ERCP
- EUS
- Bronchoscopy
- EBUS
- Conscious sedation administration/recovery
- Airway management
- IV starts and specimen handling
Preferred Experience:
- Bariatric procedures
- ION Robotics
- Portable/bedside procedures
- Pre/Post procedure care
Position Details:
- Monday–Friday 8-hour shifts
- On-call required for after hours, weekends, and holidays
- Adults & geriatrics patient population
- Average daily census: 25 patients
- 4 procedure rooms
Important Facility Notes:
- Facility does not accept local travelers within 65 miles
- No call-ins permitted
- RTO must be disclosed at submission/interview
- Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during severe weather events
- Modules are billable and completed during orientation
- Travelers must have updated NURSYS report with submission
- Former Ochsner employees/contractors must be separated for 1 full year before returning as travelers
