Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in an acute care setting utilizing the nursing process
• Perform ongoing patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Monitor patient condition, administer medications, and evaluate responses to treatment
• Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and care team members to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation per hospital policies and procedures
• Operate medical equipment and technology safely and efficiently
• Support patient satisfaction initiatives and assist in resolving patient concerns when needed
• Maintain compliance with hospital standards, policies, and annual competency requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of recent acute care RN experience required
• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
• ADN or BSN accepted
• Active California RN License required
• AHA BLS certification required
• AHA ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
