PACU Days, 4x12hr, short 8wk assignment. Compact State.

Active NC or compact license
2 years of experience
ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH
Floating policy: Float within peri-anesthesia (Endoscopy/Pre Op/Phase II)
Scrub Color(s) : Surgical green or navy
Documentation system: Cerner
Number of Beds: 40
Patient Ratios: 1:2
Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : HUC available 7:30-4; 4 PCTs scheduled each day and assigned to specific pods. Can draw labs, do catheterizations, and transport patients
Type of equipment : standard PACU equipment
Scheduling requirements: 6 week schedules at a time; 3 call shifts required within the 6 weeks

I have worked with this company for 3, along with a few others, and they have been great! They seem to be very appreciative of their staff and always sending appreciative gifts to you. I can’t say much now that they have joined TotalMed, but am looking forward to see what develops.

Rates are not always the best, would be nice to have a few more eastern and southern state options, like Mississippi or North Carolina cities
