Location: Next to OR

Floor:  2 nd Floor

Building: Main Hospital

 

General Information

Tell us about the unit(s):

·         Number of Beds -26

·         Number of Staff – Varies

·         Type of staff:

o    Day Shift -Charge and usually a float nurse

o    Night Shift – Closed on call is 2 PACU nurses

·         Patient Ratios – 1:2

·         Type of equipment -

·         EMR - Meditech

Skill Set Most recruited for: 

 

Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

·          ICU

·          PACU

Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.

·         Experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):  

·         General; Neuro; Oncology; Orthopedics; Vascular. All types of surgical procedures

·          

Best personality Fit:

·         Easy going and pleasant.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

·         None but of course ACLS

Floating Area(s):

·         Day Surgery

Dress Code:

·         Scrub Color/Attire - Royal Blue or Hospital Scrubs

·         ASPAN Guidelines.

 

Weekends and On call (if any)

·         On call only
