We are actively hiring experienced Med Surg Registered Nurses (RN) for a large float pool assignment at Strong Memorial Hospital. This role requires flexibility to work across multiple Med-Surg units while providing safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced academic medical center.

📋 Job Details

• Start Date: June 8, 2026
• End Date: September 12, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts/week
• Shift Type: Rotating Days / Evenings / Nights
• Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend (EOW)
• Holidays / On-Call / Charge: Based on unit needs
• Positions: 10

🩺 Core Responsibilities

• Deliver care for adult Med-Surg patients across multiple units
• Perform assessments, medication administration, and care coordination
• Monitor telemetry patients and respond to clinical changes
• Float between units based on census and staffing needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes

🧠 Requirements (Strict)

• Minimum 2+ years Med Surg RN experience
• Telemetry experience REQUIRED
• Ability to adapt quickly in a float pool environment
• Strong communication, prioritization, and teamwork skills

✅ Certifications Required

• BLS (AHA ONLY)

📜 License Requirement

• Active New York RN License ONLY accepted
