Assignment Type: Travel CT Technologist / Travel Cat Scan Tech
Setting: Acute Care Hospital – Diagnostic Imaging / Trauma Imaging
Start Date: June 22nd, 2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Shift: 12-hour night shifts
Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday nights — consistent weekend block scheduling with weekday flexibility
Weekly Estimated Travel Rate: $3,008
Local Rate: $80/hour
Equipment: 64-slice GE CT scanners
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of CT Technologist experience required
- Recent hospital-based CT imaging experience required
- Experience with angiograms and CT-guided procedures including biopsies required
- Trauma imaging experience strongly preferred
- Experience working with EPIC electronic medical records preferred
- Current ARRT certification required
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Active Massachusetts Radiation Control Program license required
- Strong technical, organizational, and patient care skills required
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures in a busy acute care hospital environment
- Operate 64-slice GE CT scanners while ensuring patient safety and image quality
- Assist with advanced CT procedures including angiograms and CT-guided biopsies
- Provide timely imaging support for emergency department and trauma patients
- Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information within EPIC
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary hospital staff to coordinate patient care
- Maintain compliance with hospital imaging protocols, radiation safety standards, and department policies
