Unit Information:
Beds: 22 plus surge beds
Census? 85 patients per day on average
Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years as an ED RN
Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
Patient Ratios:
RN: 1:3-4 (depends on assigned zone)
Active RN License (GA)
BLS (Basic Life Support) required
BCR (Basic Cardiac Rythm) required
TNCC - preferred, not required
National certification - Emergency nursing - preferred but not required
Skills required:
Drip management: Heparin, Insulin, Cardene, Dopamine, Epinephrine, Fentanyl, Propofol, Levophed
Receptionist/HUC: Unit secretary on unit
Charge nurse may or may not have patients
Phlebotomy - Nurse draw
IV/VAT Team: PICC coverage

EMR: EPIC

Possibility of floating to the Navicent ER in Macon (about 45 minutes away)
