📋 Job Overview

• Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Location: Parkersburg, WV
• Duration: 9 Weeks
• Schedule: 07:00 AM – 07:30 PM (12-hour shifts)
• Guarantee: 36 hours per week minimum

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Assessment: Collect, analyze, and record objective and subjective patient data to identify health needs.
• Care Planning: Create individualized care plans with measurable goals, timelines, and ongoing outcome evaluations.
• Direct Care: Administer medications, perform prescribed treatments, and accurately transcribe medical orders.
• Delegation: Assign tasks to LPNs and CNAs based on staff competency and state practice acts.
• Supervision: Monitor delegated tasks and mentor newly hired nursing staff.
• Discharge Planning: Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to coordinate safe patient transitions.
• Operations: Perform shift-change drug counts and document care using PointClickCare (PCC).
• Compliance: Maintain PHI confidentiality under HIPAA and report non-compliance issues immediately.

🎓 Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Licensure: Valid West Virginia State Board of Nursing license.
• Certification: Current BLS / CPR certification.
• Medical Screening: Verified Tuberculin Skin Test (TST) result.
• Language: Professional fluency in verbal and written English.
• Experience: Prior work in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing preferred.
