Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) for an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have strong hospital-based wound care experience, excellent clinical judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts
• Preferred block schedule: Thursday–Saturday
• Flexibility for schedules Monday–Saturday may be considered
• No Sundays
• Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered
• No Call

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of hospital experience required – HARD STOP
• First-time travelers accepted only with 5+ years of experience
• Strong candidates may be screened with skill call-outs if lacking some preferred skills

Certifications

Required:

• BLS
• Wound Care Certification or WCON required

Preferred:

• ACLS

Additional Requirements

• Epic experience highly preferred
• Pending licenses not accepted
• RTO (Requested Time Off) must be submitted at time of submission
• Local candidates accepted

• Facility may call off once per two-week pay period

• Experienced in inpatient wound care
• Comfortable working independently
• Flexible with scheduling needs
• Proficient in electronic charting systems, preferably Epic
• Able to provide high-quality patient-centered care in an acute care setting
