Description
CT Tech - Radiology (Travel Position)
Location: Clyde, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Department: Radiology
- Specialty: CT (with MRI skills preferred)
- Shift: Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, Monday 8:30 AM – 9:00 PM
- Hours per Week: 36 (40 guaranteed weekly hours)
- Call: On call a couple of nights per week, rotated with other techs
- Patient Population: Adult, Geriatric, and some Pediatrics
- Patient Load: 20-30 patients per tech (2 techs on shift)
- Equipment: GE imaging systems
- EHR System: Paragon
- Dress Code: Black scrubs; no t-shirts or hoodies allowed
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in North Carolina
- CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
Additional Information
- Orientation occurs bi-weekly with upcoming start dates available
- Facility is a 154-bed hospital with multiple specialties including orthopedics, cardiology, general surgery, women’s care, emergency, and behavioral health
- Location is approximately 20 miles from Asheville, NC, near Great Smoky Mountains National Park
- Weekend hours only required if using PTO
Summary
This travel CT Tech role requires a minimum of 2 years CT experience with ARRT CT registration and BLS certification. The position involves weekend and extended weekday shifts with on-call duties. Candidates should be proficient in advanced CT procedures or fluoroscopy on CT and ideally have MRI skills. The role offers exposure to a diverse adult and pediatric patient population in a well-equipped radiology department.
