ATC HElathcare West is seeking a Locum NP/ PA - Trauma Surgery in Robbinsdale, MN!!

Dates of Coverage
MAY- JULY. Up to full time work

Primarily function
may have some intermittent ED consult, trauma activations, procedures work.
For those with surgical and trauma critical care experience may have needs for this.  

Call Ratio
No call- in house only

Average Number of Patients Per Day: 10-14 admitted patients to round on if non ICU, 6 if ICU, admitting/ED can be 2-15 per 24h

Documentation System/EMR: EPIC

Trauma Level/Designation: Level I adult that cares for Pediatrics

Staffed with Trauma Surgeon 24-hour per day

Specialty Back-Up is Available (If Needed) for Procedures Noted: Trauma Surgeon
 

Patient Age Demographic: 0-100+, but primarily adult and adolescent.

Required Procedures:  (These are not all necessary but preferred)

• Non-Invasive Vent Management (bipap/cpap)
• Ventilation Management
• Chest Tube Insertion
• Central Line
• Arterial Line
• Suturing Minor Lacerations

Required of the APP: 

• Responding to the ED for Trauma Alerts
• Facilitating Discharges
• ER Admissions
• Daily rounding and management of all conditions- we do not use hospitalists.  need to be fully able to be attending on all patient conditions

Certs Required

• ACLS
• ATLS
• Board Certified
• PALS
