Description

Job Title: Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) for a hospital-based assignment supporting inpatient populations. The LMSW will conduct psychosocial assessments, provide supportive therapy, coordinate discharge planning, and facilitate referrals to appropriate community resources and post-acute services.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments
Provide supportive counseling and therapy to patients and families
Develop and coordinate discharge plans
Facilitate referrals to community agencies and support services
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements:

Master’s Degree in Social Work
Valid LMSW license issued by NYSED (Primary Source Verification required)
Minimum 1 year of LMSW experience
Hospital experience required
Inpatient medicine, surgery (med/surg), or rehab experience preferred

Contract Details:

Local and Travel Contract both available
Travel Pay: Up to $2,800/week
Day Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
