Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry, Cardiovascular

Location: Billings, MT 59101

Start Date: June 1, 2026

Schedule: 12×3 Night Shifts

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the State Board of Nursing. 

Responsibilities include:

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care.
• Evaluating health status through ongoing collection and assessment of health data.
• Providing health teaching and counseling.
• Delivering therapy and treatment supportive and restorative to life and well-being, either directly to patients or indirectly through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching.
• Executing delegated medical functions.
• Referring patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed.
• Reviewing and monitoring therapy and treatment plans.
• Documenting in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• Utilizing resources appropriately.
• Promoting the mission, vision, and values of SCL Health, and adhering to service behavior standards.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
• Floating to other departments (within scope of competency and qualifications) based on business needs.
• Participating in on-call rotations during scheduled shifts.

• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Knowledge, skills, minimum education, training, licensure, and experience as required by role.

Preferred:

• Previous experience as a Registered Nurse.

Education

• ASN – Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).

Certifications & Licensure

• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
• BLS (CPR) – American Heart Association.
• ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit or service.

Preferred:

• Specialty certification relevant to cardiovascular/telemetry unit.
