Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will be confident in both scrub and circulating roles and have experience across multiple surgical service lines. This position requires a strong clinical background, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Operating Room
Perform both scrub and circulating duties across various surgical procedures
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care throughout the perioperative process
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR systems
Ensure adherence to all safety, sterilization, and infection control protocols

Required Qualifications: Active RN license BLS & ACLS certifications (required) Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience in an acute care setting Strong experience in orthopedic, spine, and joint replacement surgeries Ability to scrub and circulate across all service lines
