Description

Job Overview:
We are hiring an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in a fast-paced Intermediate Care/Telemetry unit. This role is ideal for a nurse who is confident managing cardiac patients, thrives in a team-oriented environment, and demonstrates strong clinical judgment and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data
Provide comprehensive patient care for cardiac and high-acuity patients
Administer medications, including IV drips and cardiac-related therapies
Manage patients with central lines, chest tubes, and PCA pumps
Deliver post-procedural care, including heart cath recovery
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems

Required Qualifications: Active RN license BLS & ACLS certifications (required) Minimum 1–2 years of recent acute care Telemetry experience Strong cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation skills
