Description

RN – ICU | 13 Weeks | Smyrna, TN

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive critical care nursing to ICU patients, including continuous assessment and monitoring.
Manage ventilated patients and provide sedation management in a high-acuity ICU setting.
Administer and titrate critical care medications as ordered.
Assist with bedside procedures including trach placement, bronchoscopy, and cardioversion.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care and positive patient experience.
Maintain accurate charting using Meditech and follow unit-specific communication and medication teaching protocols.

Required Skills

ICU experience with ventilator and sedation management
Medication titration
Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
Ability to float as required
BLS and ACLS certification
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
