Description

RN – Stepdown | 13 Weeks | Knoxville, TN

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to stepdown patients with moderate to high acuity conditions.
Monitor patient status, perform assessments, and respond to changes in condition promptly.
Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered.
Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge care.

Required Skills

Stepdown/Progressive Care experience
Cardiac monitoring and patient assessment
Strong clinical judgment in intermediate care setting
Cerner charting experience
BLS and ACLS certification
Minimum 1 year experience (travel experience preferred)
