RN – Oncology | Asheville, NC
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night, 3x12 (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Location: 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to oncology and women’s surgical patients in an acute care setting
• Perform patient assessments, medication administration, and monitor treatment response
• Manage post-surgical care and support oncology patients throughout hospitalization
• Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for treatment planning
• Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner EMR
• Float to other med-surg units as needed based on staffing requirements

Required Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Oncology and med-surg patient care experience
• Strong assessment, medication administration, and patient monitoring skills
• Ability to care for surgical and oncology patient populations
• Team-oriented and adaptable to changing patient needs
• Cerner experience preferred
