·        Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Tech’s available

·        Type of equipment : hoyer, rolling computers, rolling VS

·        Documentation system: meditech

·        Scheduling requirements: 4 weekend shifts/month

·        Floating policy: Can float to Surgical or Acute Rehab

·        Patient Experience requirements: Prefer some med/surg experience

·        Certifications: RN, prefer BSN

Hiring profile

Requested Skill Set:

Basics of patient cares, normal limits for VS, labs, proficient in med administration and controlled substance knowledge

Must have:

 RN license

Advanced skills needed:

NG/NJ tubes, chest tubes, heparin drip

Procedures performed on unit:  

Heart procedures in cath lab-patients return to unit

Certifications Required:

BLS

Dress Code: (Required uniform)

·        Navy Blue Scrubs-tops and bottoms
