Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical for a travel assignment. The RN will provide direct patient care to adult patients with a wide range of medical conditions in an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment skills, excellent communication abilities, and the flexibility to adapt to different healthcare environments.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to physicians and healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in the EMR system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge instructions
- Follow hospital policies, patient safety standards, and infection control guidelines
