OR RN – 10HR Nights | UNC Health Pardee | Hendersonville, NC
Required Certifications & Experience
Certifications Required at Submission
- BLS
- Active North Carolina RN License or Compact RN License
Minimum Experience
- 2+ years OR experience
- At least 1 successful travel assignment
- Must have worked in an OR covering all service lines
- Comfortable handling emergency situations
- Current EPIC charting experience within the last 6 months
Required Skills / Cases
Must have experience with:
- Orthopedics
- General Surgery
- Total Knees/Hips
- Cataracts/Retinas
- Vascular procedures (including thrombectomy)
- C-sections
Position: OR RN
Facility: UNC Health Pardee
Primary Location: Pardee Memorial Hospital
Start Date: 7/6
Contract Length: 5 weeks
Schedule
- Shift: 10 Hour Nights
- Hours: 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Monday–Friday
- Guaranteed Hours: Up to 40 hours/week
- Hours are not guaranteed during orientation week or holidays when the unit is closed.
- Facility Cancellation Policy: Facility may cancel 1 shift biweekly without penalty.
Orientation
- Five 8-hour orientation shifts
Float / Call Requirements
- Floating: None
- Call Rotation: Required
- Holiday Requirement:
- One (1) 24-hour call shift during the contract

- Black Friday

Note:
Black Friday is recognized by Pardee as a holiday, but travelers working that day receive regular pay. Holiday pay applies only to:

Additional Requirements
- Monthly staff meeting during the 4th week of each month
