Description

Cardiac Stepdown Travel RN Contract

Weekly Hours:
• 36 or 48 hrs/week available
• OT starts after 40 hrs on 36 hr contracts
• OT starts after 48 hrs on 48 hr contracts

Unit Details:
• 24-bed Cardiac Stepdown unit
• Ratios: Days 1:4 | Nights 1:6
• CABG, ICD, Pacemaker, cardiac drips, vascular surgical patients
• Common drips include Nitro, Cardene, Heparin, Dilt, Dopamine

Facility Info:
• EMR: EPIC
• Navy blue scrubs
• Tele monitored unit

Requirements:
• Must be flexible to float between Iowa Methodist, Iowa Lutheran, and Iowa Methodist West campuses
• Travelers may also float to Iowa Lutheran when needed
• 50-mile local radius rule applies
• Previous UPH FTE or PRN employees within the last 12 months are not eligible

Pay Extras:
• On Call: $9/hr
• Charge/Precept: $6/hr
• Holiday Pay: 1.15x
• Call Back Pay: 1.5x with 2-hour minimum

Holiday Requirement:
• Must work 1–2 of the 3 summer holidays:
Memorial Day, Independence Day, or Labor Day

NBO: 16 hrs
