Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a travel assignment. The ER RN will provide rapid assessment, treatment, and monitoring of patients presenting with acute illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and deliver high-quality patient care during night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, prioritize, and provide nursing care to patients with emergent and urgent medical conditions.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and other treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes in status.
- Assist with emergency procedures, trauma cases, and life-saving interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and healthcare staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control guidelines.
