Description

Job Title: Pathologists Assistant

Shift: Day Shift – 5x8s 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years Pathologists Assistant experience
Travel experience required
ASCP-PA certification required
Epic experience required
Experience in Surgical Pathology and Hospital Clinical Laboratory settings
Strong experience with gross examination/dissection of specimens, tissue sampling, specimen processing, fixation, accessioning, and histological preparation
Experience with autopsy pathology, evisceration, tumor triage, and microscopic examination preferred
Master’s degree preferred

Responsibilities:

Perform gross examination and dissection of large/complex specimens and biopsies
Prepare tissue samples for histological processing
Handle specimen receipt, labeling, fixation, and accessioning
Support surgical pathology and autopsy procedures
