Required Skills:

• Valid RN licensure in the state
• Current BLS certification; ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Ability to perform comprehensive assessments quickly and accurately
• Strong knowledge of emergency care protocols, equipment, and medications
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey vital information clearly and effectively
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in high-pressure situations
• Adaptability and resilience to manage changing patient needs
• Proficiency in documentation and use of healthcare information systems

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in emergency nursing or critical care
• Familiarity with T-System or other electronic documentation tools
• Skills in patient education and family communication in urgent settings

Other Requirements:

• Ability to manage a fast-paced, often chaotic work environment with professionalism and composure
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Physical stamina to perform duties that may include lifting, standing for long periods, and responding swiftly to emergencies
