We are seeking an experienced ICU RN with STRONG Neuro critical care experience for a high-acuity travel assignment in beautiful Coastal Virginia! This is an AUTO OFFER opportunity for qualified candidates.

 REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Neuro ICU / Critical Care background

• Post-neurosurgical patient management

• EVD management

• Stroke/CVA care

• Ventilator management

• IV drip titration

• Dysrhythmia & emergency response

• Conscious sedation

• Telemetry monitoring

• Epic proficiency REQUIRED

Certifications Required:

• BLS (AHA)

• ACLS (AHA)

• NIHSS

 Contract Details:

• Ratios: 1:2–3

• Must float to Stepdown Unit as needed

• May float to ED/MedSurg to care for ICU hold patients

• Every other weekend required

• VA or Compact RN License REQUIRED at submission

 Patient Population Includes:

• Neurosurgical & post-stroke patients

• Respiratory failure

• Renal failure

• Trauma

• Sepsis/MODS

• Heart failure & post-cardiac cath

• Post-surgical ICU patients

 Important Notes:

• NO local candidates within 50 miles

• No license/background hits accepted

• Travel experience preferred

• Strong candidates with under 3 years ICU experience may be considered
