Job: Registered Nurse – MS/Tele

Location: Cleveland, OH
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift | 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Start Date: 06/26/2026

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for Med/Surg and Telemetry patients in an acute care hospital setting.
• Monitor and assess patients requiring cardiac telemetry and continuous cardiac rhythm observation.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to physician orders.
• Interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to cardiac or medical emergencies.
• Care for pulmonary, endoscopy, and respiratory step-down patient populations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care and positive patient outcomes.
• Float to similar patient care units including J1-2, J33, and Emergency Department overflow areas as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow infection control and hospital safety protocols.
• Provide patient education and support to patients and families during hospitalization.
• Participate in orientation testing including ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License required.
• Minimum 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required prior to travel assignments.
• Minimum 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience required.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA or American Red Cross).
• Strong telemetry monitoring and ECG rhythm interpretation skills required.
• Ability to work weekend-only schedule (Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon).
• Must be willing to work every other holiday as required by the facility.
• Experience floating to similar units preferred.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate testing required during orientation.
