Traveler Experience: Unit WILL ACCEPT 1st Time Travelers

**Skills: Work setting: Adult Acute Care, Emergency Department, Pediatric Acute Care. Equipment: PACS, Siemens. Abdomen and Pelvis: both with and without contrast. Chest: Chest without and/or with contrast, Vascular chest (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta). Head and Neck: carotid, head with and/or without contrast, sinuses, soft tissue neck, trauma head. Image Display and Post Processing: Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP), Region of interest measurement (ROI). Professional Knowledge and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Preparation and/or administration of contrast media, Radiation Safety, Starting Peripheral IVs, Venipuncture. Spine and Musculoskeletal: cervical, lumbar, musculoskeletal trauma, thoracic.
Certs: ARRT CT; ARRT R; BLS

**MUST HAVE Siemens CT scanner experience as the traveler will be working alone.**

PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Work setting: Adult Outpatient, Pediatric Outpatient. Image Display and Post Processing: 3D rendering (Maximum intensity projection, Surface shaded displays, Volume rendering). Special Procedures: Vascular CTA

-Ratios: 1:1 NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS
-Unit Will Accept 13 Weeks!
-36 Hours Can Be Offered
-Shift: 3 x 12 Hour NIGHTS; 19:00 - 07:30; Friday/Saturday/Sunday
-Call Requirement: YES. To participate in the call rotation 6-7 week rotation.
-Float Requirement: NONE
-WEEKEND SCHEDULE: Every weekend, FRIDAY, SATURDAY, & SUNDAY

UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): EPIC and email

SCHEDULING TYPE: Blocked; FRIDAY, SATURDAY & SUNDAY
