We are actively seeking experienced Telemetry Registered Nurses (TELE RN) for a long-term assignment at a leading Akron healthcare facility. This is a great opportunity for strong Telemetry nurses with charge experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced cardiac unit environment.
 

Position Overview

• Specialty: RN Telemetry I
• Unit: 33-Bed Cardiac Telemetry Unit
• Job Type: Long Term Assignment
• Shift: Nights | 19:00 – 07:30
• Location: Akron Campus – 4 North (4N)
• Open Positions: 2
• Patient Ratios: 1:5–6

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License
• ACLS & BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2+ years of recent RN experience in MS/Telemetry
• Minimum 2+ years of recent Charge Nurse experience
• Recent Epic EMR experience within the last year
  ⚠ Resume must clearly show where Epic was used within each job over the past 12 months
• Recent experience with:
  • Drawing blood/phlebotomy
  • Starting and maintaining IVs
• Must be willing to float as needed
• Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program

Important Submission Guidelines

• Interview Required
  ➜ Please include candidate availability dates/times for interview
• RTO must be submitted upfront with submission
• Maximum 7 days of RTO accepted
• No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of assignment
• Any additional RTO after submission will not be accepted
• Block schedules considered on a case-by-case basis
• Travelers must be available to work:
  • Every other weekend
  • Holidays as needed
• Required dress code: Solid Black Scrubs
