Description
Start Date: June 26 and July 24 orientation
This pay is for a 48 hour contract (36 hour contract also available at $2700/week)
- Managed patients with CHF, COPD, sepsis, post-op complications, stroke, and cardiac conditions
- Performed assessments, developed care plans, and collaborated with interdisciplinary teams
- Administered IV drips, anticoagulants, and cardiac medications safely
- Monitored telemetry and managed equipment including IV pumps, PCA, and oxygen therapy
- Provided wound care, catheter care, NG tube management, and blood transfusions
- Educated patients/families on conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Documented accurately in Epic EHR system
- MUST HAVE minimum of 18 mos recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
- MUST HAVE 18 months PERM experience in specialty applying for PRIOR to travel assignments.
- MUST HAVE PERM OHIO LICENSE OR COMPACT STATE IN HAND
- AHA or client BLS, ACLS & NIHSS cert required.
- Traveler must work at least every other holiday.
- Time: D/N rotating shift: 7pm-7:30am/7am-7:30pm (Shifts may be variable, IF NEEDED TO MEET THE OPERATIONAL NEEDS OF THE HOSPITAL, Facility will do their best to honor travelers preferred shift but reserve the right to rotate them if necessary.)
- ECG rhythm recognition test and safe Medicate will be completed during orientation, an acceptable score on both assessments is required.
