Department: LDRP *Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NRP* NO CLINICAL INVOLVEMENT FIT TESTING / FACIAL HAIR- Please note, if a clinician for this facility has facial hair, they will be required to pass the either the Primary or Secondary fit test (3M Aura 1860 sm or reg/3M 1870+). If unable to pass - A Portacount test would be required, which CANNOT be completed on clinicians with facial hair & PAPR CANNOT be completed on site solely due to failing because of facial hair - contract would be canceled if facial hair cannot be removed. - # of L&D Beds: 4 L&D beds, 7 postpartum - Do you follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios?: Labor: 1:1-2, PostPartum: 1:2-3 - Common diagnoses/Types of patients: >35 weeks in labor, Mom/Baby couplets - Years Experience: 2yrs experience required - Are RNs required to titrate drips?: Yes - Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Antepartum/Labor- Magnesium, Oxytocin, LR, Zofran, etc . Postpartum: Prenatal vitamin, Ibuprofen, Acetaminophen, Percocet, Toradol - Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: Yes - RT Equipment (Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, etc.) Are RNs required to do anything with these besides trouble shoot?: Neonatal vent- CPAP, Bipap, high flow - EFM System OB Trace Vue - Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?): 7-7 // block scheduling - Weekend Requirements: Every third weekend - Holiday Requirements: Depending on availability - Floating Requirements: Floating to MSP/ED for helping hands, mostly sitting 1:1 with patients - Scrubs: Provided - How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: 3- 12 hour shifts - Additional Notes: This is a rural hospital, distance from NICU >1 hour away, limited services. Attributes that help a nurse be successful in this unit team work, provider consistency, knowledge, independence, good communication. Surgery is in charge of the C section, we just circulate for the baby. Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions. Entered On: 12/22/2023
