Looking for a Multi-Modality tech for our night shift hours located in Beloit, Wisconsin. Schedule: Monday-Thursday 9p-7a Requirements : Graduate of an accredited radiography program - Education verification required ARRT registered in Radiography ARRT registered in CT WI-DSPS radiographer license AHA Provider BLS/CPR required ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Maintains active status in the modalities in which they practice. • Assists the department coordinator by providing clinical leadership, completes projects, advanced level clinical duties and regular assignments as requested. • Is competent in all exams performed within the assigned modalities. • Corroborates patient clinical history with procedure, ensuring information is documented and available for use by the radiologist. • Prepares the patient for procedures, providing instructions to obtain desired results, gain cooperation, and minimize anxiety. • Selects and operates imaging equipment, image capture devices, and accessories to successfully perform procedures. • Positions patient to best demonstrate anatomic area of interest, respecting patient ability and comfort; immobilizes patient as necessary. • Practices aseptic technique as necessary, • Prepares and administers contrast media as appropriate to procedures performed; starts and maintains intravenous access. • Initiates basic life support action when necessary. • Provides patient education. • Provides input for supply and equipment decisions, maintains control of inventory and supplies for assigned area. • Provides practical instruction for students and partners. • Observes universal protocol, standard precautions and appropriate patient identifiers.
