Schedule

  • Schedule:
    • Monday
    • Tuesday
    • Wednesday
    • Friday
  • Hours: 0630–1700

Requirements

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of recent OR RN experience required
  • Prior travel experience required
  • Must have:
    • Robotic surgery experience
    • Orthopedic and/or Neuro experience

Certifications

  • BLS required
  • ACLS preferred
  • PALS preferred

Licensure

  • Active Florida RN License or Compact RN License required at time of submission

Additional Requirements

  • Degree accreditation must be listed on profile
    • OR candidate must have 5 years of experience if accreditation is not listed
  • Epic EMR experience required

Surgical Specialties

Strong experience preferred in:

  • Orthopedics
  • Oncology
  • Bariatrics
  • Vascular
  • Neuro
  • Trauma
  • Robotics

Call Requirements

  • Call required:
    • 1 shift per week after scheduled shift
      • Typically 2–4 hours
    • 1–2 weekend call shifts per month
      • 12-hour shifts

Floating Requirements

  • Floating required
  • Travelers are first to float
  • May float to:
    • Other units
    • Sister campuses as needed

Candidate Requirements

  • Local radius rule:
    • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Additional Facility Information

  • EMR System: Epic
  • Scrubs: Provided by hospital
  • Unit Culture:
    • Travelers are expected to work collaboratively and function as core staff members within the team environment
