General Information
Tell us about the unit(s):
- Number of Beds – 5 Interventional Radiology suites
- Type of staff:
- Day Shift – 8A - 6:30P
- On-call – 1 night a week and 1 weekend per month
- Patient Ratios – 2 IR Tech's and 1 IR RN
- Type of equipment – 4 Siemens Bi-plane’s, 1 Siemens Single plane
- EMR – Meditech, GE Centricity PACS

Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role:
- Minimum 6 months current acute care hospital IR Tech experience
- ARRT RT (R) as well as BLS are required
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
- Experience in Neuro interventional experience (Strokes, Aneurysms, SAH)
- Expert knowledge of Vascular interventional Radiology Procedures with minimal guidance
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
- Neuro: Comprehensive Stroke Center – (Stokes, Aneurysms, SAH, DVST
- Level 1 Trauma Center – (GIB, EMBO’S, Gastronomy Tubes, Nephrostomy, etc.
Best personality Fit:
- Self-motivated, likes to work in a fast pace Interventional Lab
- Teamwork work environment
Unit Guidelines:
- On-call is required – 1 night a week and 1 rotating weekend per month with possible holiday coverage
