Description

🩺 GI/Endo RN – Travel Assignment

Duration: ~20 weeks (05/31/2026 – 10/17/2026)
Shift: M-F, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Call: Some weekend call + 1 night call every 7–12 days

📍 Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 1 year (1st-time travelers accepted)
License: Active RN license
Certifications: BLS required (ACLS preferred)
Local Policy: Must live >50 miles away

🛠️ Skills & Experience:

Endoscopy procedures: Colonoscopy, EGD, EBUS, EUS, Bronchoscopy
Assist with biopsies, specimen handling, and procedure setup
Equipment: Endoscopes, C-arm, electrosurgical units, dilators, etc.
Scope reprocessing, sterilization, and infection control

🏥 Unit Details: Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient Endoscopy Patient Ratio: 1:3 (Days) Cases/Day: ~35 Rooms: 3 | Beds: 9 Patient Population: Adolescents – Geriatrics 📌 Additional Info: Scrubs provided Max RTO: 7 days
