Position Details - June Starts ONLY
RN – Medical/Surgical Telemetry (Unit 5E)
Minimum one-year recent acute care experience required

Minimum one year travel experience required
MS/Tele experience required; CAPD preferred
EPIC experience preferred
Certifications Required: BLS
Schedule: 12-Hr Days; every other weekend/major holiday required
(May be able to accommodate weekend blocked schedule)
 

Unit Specific Details

Unit: 30-bed (can flex to 37 beds) mixed surgical unit 
Patient Population: general surgery, trauma, minor ortho cases; post-op and post-trauma patients;
Average LOS: ~4 days; dayshift can expect 1–2 patient turnover per nurse per day
Equipment/Skills: Alaris pumps, Hercules beds, BiPAP, CPAP, trachs, chest tubes, tube feeds (Kangaroo pumps);
dysrhythmia interpretation required; remote MS/Tele, CAPD preferred
Floating: Required to float to other Med/Surg units as needed
Ratio: 1:5–6*
