Description
X-ray Technician
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Shift: 8-hour Day (Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
Contract Length: 6 weeks
Job Description
- Work primarily in Emergency Department, inpatient units, and portable X-ray settings.
- Must be willing to learn pediatric and neonatal imaging.
- Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment.
- Evaluate images for technical quality.
- Use EMR systems including EPIC and Sectra.
- Work with equipment brands such as GE, Phillips, and CareStream.
- Assigned to a specific department by day but expected to float as needed.
- Responsible for working with students and performing competency check-offs.
- Mask fit testing is required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience at a Level 1 trauma center or 2-3 years experience at a large bed Level 2 trauma facility.
- Graduate of a JRCERT/ARRT approved radiologic technology program.
- Current BLS certification.
- ARRT certification.
