Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location

Ottumwa, Iowa

Employment Type

Travel contract
Contract length: 13 weeks

Schedule

Shift: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
Start days allowed: Monday or Tuesday

Unit and Patient Population

Facility size: 75 beds
Patient types: adults, geriatrics, neonatal and pediatric (including possible micro-premies to hospice)
Equipment used: Vocsn Ventilators, V60 BiPAPs
Float requirements: may be required to float within a 25-mile radius

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in Iowa
Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Care Practitioner experience within the last year

Onboarding Requirements

Iowa SING background check clearance (criminal and child abuse portions required) – no exceptions
All background checks (county and state) must be fully cleared prior to start; instant or statewide searches are not accepted
Mandatory reporter certification for child and adult required
Drug test: 10-panel screening including opiates
