Job Description
Type of Patients on Unit: RT floats throughout the hospital – newborn to adult
Specialty: Adult critical care , NICU and PICU experience preferred
Weekend Hours: 36 (unless otherwise noted):
Call Requirements: no
Float Requirements: RT floats to all areas of the hospital
Number of Beds: 159 ( round about )
Patient Ratios:
Equipment: Drager V500 ventilators , V60 bipap, Hamilton T-1 transport ventilator , Airvo highflow oxygen units , neopuff , Ram cannula
EMR: EPIC

3YRS+ Exp Working in Specialty
3YRS+ Exp Working Only in Acute Care Setting

Float Requirements: RT floats to all areas of the hospital
Must Have Skills/Experience: working in a nursery – being part of the resuscitation team , experience with attending high risk deliveries , working in an adult ICU , experience with treating pediatric patients in the ER , sharp assessment skills , experience with the equipment mentioned above
Preferred Skillset/Experience: NICU ,PICU experience so I know the candidate is comfortable and competent treating newborns and critically ill pediatric patients in the ER.
This candidate must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist with experience working in ICU , ER ( which includes treating pediatric patients needing intubation and mechanical ventilation ) Nursery ( level 1 ) which involves attending high risk c-sections along with being part of the resuscitation team and Med Surge floors. Is familiar using the Drager V500 ,Hamilton T-1 ventilators , neo puff , and has used EPIC documentation system , . Holds certifications in NRP , BLS, ACLS and PALS
