Description
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery
Location: Santa Rosa, CA
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Shift – 3x12 Hours; 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Charting System: Epic
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
- Postpartum experience required
- BLS, ACLS, NRP & AWHONN Intermediate required
- Trauma Level II experience preferred
- IV therapy and phlebotomy skills preferred
Required Skills and Experience:
- Assist with high-risk and vaginal deliveries
- Circulate and recover C-section patients
- Perform sterile vaginal exams
- Experience with hemorrhage and shock management
- Experience with neonatal resuscitation and newborn care
- Experience with antepartum, postpartum, and fetal monitoring procedures
- Experience with epidural and pain management procedures
- Experience with postpartum hemorrhage, pre-eclampsia, VBAC management, and preterm labor care
Additional Details:
- Floating to Postpartum required
- Call required based on unit needs
- Local candidates not accepted
