Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to support a busy cardiac catheterization department. The ideal candidate will have experience in both diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, strong sterile technique skills, and the ability to assist with complex cardiovascular interventions in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields for procedures
- Perform equipment setup and procedural support
- Monitor and recognize life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias
- Assist with cardiac stent placements, PCI, PTCA, right and left heart catheterizations, and IABP procedures
- Follow infection control and isolation precaution protocols
- Ensure accurate documentation and patient safety throughout procedures
