Pay Rate: $81 / hour

Speech Language Pathologist

• 55 contacts per week (they do not do case load)
• Locations:
  • Bohemia Manor High School
  • Bohemia Manor Middle School
  • Private School (floater) Good Shepherd Catholic School, West Nottingham Academy, John Carroll School and St. Joan of Arc School
  • High Road Academy (Students with Autism) K-12

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION

• Conducting speech, language, and communication evaluations for students
• Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Providing direct speech therapy services to students
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, administrators, and special education staff
• Monitoring student progress and maintaining documentation
• Participating in IEP meetings and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
• Supporting students with communication disorders affecting academic and social success

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Maryland SLP licensure
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
• School-based experience preferred but not always required
